Media spokesperson

One ocean needs many voices - a call to all to step forward and make a change for ourselves and for the environment.

What's involved?

Once trained, you'll help to raise awareness about our work and marine conservation issues by acting as a media spokesperson in your local area.

You’ll be talking about our work and activities, including our flagship Great British Beach Clean event – this could be by speaking on your local radio, on camera for TV pieces or to the local press.

  • Opportunities will be arranged by our Media & Communications Team who will help to brief you ahead of any activities. You’ll be provided with a key messages document and have the opportunity to ask questions.
  • You'll represent the Marine Conservation Society's values, and will receive training to help you embody our brand.
