Join FirstPort colleagues for a beach clean and survey as part of the Great British Beach Clean. This beach clean will take place at Clacton-on-Sea, meeting at the pier entrance at 12:45 to comment the beach clear at 1pm. This event will last for 2 hours and it is open for all ROUK colleagues to join. Also worth noting: We recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, water bottle, waterproofs, hand sanitiser and some snacks. What to wear: If you are picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - such as gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Also worth knowing…

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.
