We will be cleaning and surveying a 100m stretch of the Langstone Harbour coastline opposite Anchorage Park. Meeting point: Near a 'Solent Way' path waymarker. The exact What3Words location is ///bonus.faded.oiled. Parking: There is public parking near the Andrew Simpson Centre, about an 8-minute walk from our meeting point. Nearest bus stop: Robinson Way (Stagecoach service 19). Nearest train station: Hilsea. What to wear: Please wear sturdy shoes. I’ve found wellies to be best for this location, as it tends to get quite muddy! Equipment will be provided. Please note: Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for children due to the specific conditions at this location.

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.

Join us on the beach whilst there's still spaces!
