Richard Harrington

Head of Communications

Richard is a marine biologist by training, passionate about rocky seashores and shallow seas. Now a communicator by profession, he enjoys immersing audiences (as literally as possible), in the beauty and sheer variety of life in our seas, helping to create the change our seas need to recover. Working with the media on sea-related news and documentary/film making, he loves the conversations we have with our supporters on social media, too. Richard writes for Coast magazine every month and has previously worked as a warden on the stunning St Mary’s Island, and worked with young people and volunteers for the RSPB.
