MCS has a long standing relationship with PwC and we’re delighted to engage with many of their employees over the course of a year for our volunteering days. PwC also supports the charity through Company Membership at the Platinum level.

Our relationship with PwC goes back to 2010 when they engaged for the first time with our Beachwatch programme and in the same year joined us at our Clarence House reception with the charity’s President, HRH The Prince of Wales. In 2015, we formalised a partnership to deliver a series of environmental volunteering days to PwC staff all over the country, mostly as part of their annual firmwide volunteering initiative, One Firm One Day. PwC’s approach to environmental volunteering aims to increase their people’s environmental education, and links global environmental issues to local volunteering activity. Based on our own Team Beach Clean days, MCS supports them in maximising the learning opportunities and the environmental impact of their approach, while providing marine litter data to Beachwatch.

Through partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, PwC employees are building a greater understanding of global sustainability issues such as biodiversity loss and water pollution.
