From classrooms to community science fairs and Brownies to beach cleans, there are so many ways to engage young people and offer them fun and exciting ways to learn. Here are a few of the different ways that you could get involved.
- Help develop resources. If you work in a school or have experience teaching children and are keen to help out behind the scenes, then we’re always looking for ideas and feedback on our resources.
- Fancy running education sessions for schools and youth groups? If you want to run sessions on marine conservation in schools, for youth groups or at your local beach we can provide training, support and resources to help you.
- Or, why not help to set up an Ocean-Friendly School in your area? With your help, we provide schools with the resources they need to join our reward scheme so that the whole school can learn about and do all they can to help save our seas.
We DBS check all of our volunteers running face-to-face sessions, and our education team can provide all sorts of top tips from years of experience in classrooms & running interactive sessions outdoors.
The role can be done whenever suits you; daytime, evenings, or weekends, so whether you have a little or a lot of time available, we'd love to hear from you.
