Description

A starfish with five tapering arms, and a pink-orange colour. Its skin is covered in smooth bumps.

Prefers rather deep water, and is actually rarely seen. You would be lucky to spot one!

Location

A more northerly distributed starfish, found in deeper spots (such as outer Moray Firth).
