Vicky Saunders - form Rayleigh, Essex
I’ve always been passionate about environmental issues and am currently working towards a degree in Environmental Studies. In the future I’d love to specialise in marine conservation as protecting marine wildlife is particularly close to my heart. I became a Sea Champion to meet like minded people and to share my excitement with others!
What are the highlights so far?
After I signed up, I went to a training day in Brighton to boost my knowledge and meet other Sea Champions. It was here that I realised just how many things there are to get involved with. Since then, I have organised a Big Blue Day at my workplace where we had a dress down day and cake sale raising £200 for MCS, and I regularly help out at Beachwatch events at Jubilee Beach in Southend which is a thoroughly rewarding and positive experience.Back to the list
