Every three months, Waitrose.com shares a Community Matters donation of £25,000 between three national charities that shoppers have the opportunity to vote for at the online checkout.

Shoppers will be asked to vote for MCS, Just Enough Global or Action on Hearing Loss just before they complete the shopping process.

Waitrose has donated £500,000 from its carrier bag funds to MCS allowing the charity to put on more clean-ups and mobilise larger numbers of volunteers than ever before in the fight back against the rising tide of plastic litter on our beaches and now in rivers, too.

We’re delighted to be supported by Waitrose at the online checkout too. In our anniversary year, the support of online shoppers will enable us to continue our vital work to battle plastic pollution from source to sea, while working to restore our oceans back to health.

Please click on the Marine Conservation Society when shopping online at Waitrose. Voting is open now and runs until the end of May.
