North East of Farnes Deep

Site overview: This site is located 55km offshore from the north Northumberland coast, in the northern North Sea. The seabed here makes a perfect home for animals such as anemones, worms, molluscs echinoderms and fish species. Marine mammals also swim through this area all year round; these include white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises, minke and humpback whales, and grey seals.
