Annual Impact Report and Accounts
Every year we engage over one million people in our campaigns and projects. By embracing the connection between people, their livelihoods and life in the ocean, we can help communities value having a healthy ocean, whether they live and work by the coast or in the ocean or are occasional visitors. Our approach is underpinned by a strong theme of evidence-based policy work, campaigning and advocating solutions backed by science.
Our Annual Impact Report and Accounts describe our key activities each year, what we’ve achieved and what are plans are for the future.

Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each year for the purposes of Approving the Annual Report and Accounts, the appointment of auditors and changes to the Trustee board. MCS members, who are the Society’s members under Company Law, are entitled to attend the AGM and vote. In 2018 a special resolution was accepted to amend the Articles of Association, our governing document.
