Charity advent calendar launched to benefit marine conservation
Date posted: 29 October 2018
The countdown to Christmas will soon begin and we are very excited to talk about the brand new Advent of Change charity advent calendar. This innovative advent calendar raises money on behalf of selected charities across a range of important causes. The Marine Conservation Society is incredibly honoured to have been chosen as one of the charities being supported by Advent of Change. You can pick up your own copy in John Lewis stores across the country now, or online at the Advent of Change website.
Each door reveals a different donation to one of 24 incredible charities spread across a number of causes and each day represents a £1 donation.
Celebrities including Sir Richard Branson, Lawrence Dallaglio OBE, Virginia Mckenna OBE and Bob Wilson OBE have all endorsed this creative way of giving to good causes.
Kristina Salceanu, Founder of Advent of Change, said: “Advent of Change began with one simple idea: to give the gift of giving at Christmas. And that small idea has already taken on a life of its own. Here at Advent of Change we have captured the imagination of so many people already, and we really do believe that this simple concept has the power to change the world.”
Will you be a part of this big movement? Christmas is a time of giving after all…
More to feel good about: Advent of Change is made in the UK and has also been designed with the environment in mind, using FSC-certified paper, vegetable oil-based inks and biodegradable glues, and comes wrapped in a biodegradable potato starch film.
