Host a Cool Seas workshop
Free Children’s Workshops
Why not host a Cool Seas workshop and learn more about our amazing seas, shores and wildlife. Our free workshops are available to schools and children’s groups (Scouts, Brownies, Environment Clubs etc) and are suitable for children aged 6 – 10 years old.
As well as supporting the development of environmental awareness, conservation, sustainability and global citizenship, our workshops are linked to content from each of the UK school curricular.
Hosted by our wonderful team of trained Sea Champion Education volunteers, there are three workshops to choose from: a whole school assembly, an infant workshop and a junior workshop. See the attached flyer for further information.
If you would like to enquire about a workshop, please complete the form below. Whilst we will always do our best to provide workshops to interested groups, please note that we are a UK wide charity and may not always have someone available in your local area.
Big Blue day
Think about holding a Big Blue Day at your school or group to celebrate our seas and raise funds for marine conservation! We’re a charity so our work depends on donations and fundraising.
Holding a Big Blue Day couldn’t be simpler. It can be as big or as small an event as you like. The idea is to create a ‘Blue’ themed event, blue clothes, blue cakes, blue raffles, even blue hair. For further information and ideas, see the attached guide to Big Blue Day. Big Blue Days can raise anything from £50 all the way up to £10,000 for marine conservation!
The Fisherman and the Pearl
Host a performance of The Fisherman and the Pearl. This captivating multi-media performance is the story of McManus the fisherman and his granddaughter Jo's discovery that the sea has remarkable powers of recovery, if we just give it a chance.
See the attached flyer for further details of this incredible performance.

Come along to a Big Beach Clean up event with your class or group. Held at locations around the UK at the end of April, this event is an excellent way to raise awareness of marine conservation issues and develop global citizens.
