Additional information:

Changeworks, Zero Waste Leith, Leithers Don't Litter and lots of other local groups are teaming up to host a collection of community litter picking events on the afternoon of Sunday 22 April. I’m extending the reach along the #EdinburghShoreline so that we can encourage the same attention to Granton, Wardie and beyond.

Please come and celebrate Earth Day by helping to conserve our natural, living landscape. We need to join the dots along this beautiful coastline.

Afterwards, we are all happily invited to the Earth Day After Party at Boda Bar (TBC) for welcome refreshments.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please come and encourage friends to come. Or please organise your own event to help join the dots.

As ever, please take part in our important MCS survey. This is the stuff that gets policy change. If we get lots of people we are also able to spread out and do a thorough sweep of the wider landscape.

Gloves and litter picking equipment are provided.

Please visit our facebook page @WardieBayBeachwatch or twitter @wardiebaybeach and sign up for updates, pics and shares.

Looking forward to seeing you!
