This is a beach clean and litter survey. Collecting the vital data on what is being found on our coastline.

It is also to meet and thank Josh Pedley who is walking 1600 miles from March to September this year. Starting in Wales and finishing in Poole, raising money for MCS. This will be his last leg of his Welsh walk so we wanted to give him a proper send off and wish him all the best for the rest of his trip.If you wanted to follow him his twitter and facebook account is @coastingit

All equipment will be provided. Please wearing sturdy footwear, appropriate clothing and a reusable water bottle

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • I agree to read and follow the information relating to Health and Safety available in the organiser guide.
  • I agree to carry out a risk assessment in advance of Beachwatch events and I will keep a written record of these assessments.
  • I will record the details of any accident or incident of concern during the event and report this to MCS.
  • I will give a Health and Safety briefing to any volunteers before events start.
  • I understand that I must not supervise young volunteers under 16 years of age, nor allow anybody who is not their legally responsible adult to supervise them (some examples of legally responsible adults include: their parent, guardian, school teacher or guide leader).
  • I understand that if no surveys have been conducted within three years my beach will become available for others.
