- Please sign up in advance.
- Please make your own way to Gun Hill in Southwold (Primrose Alley, IP18 6HF) by 10:30am at the latest where you can sign in and collect your equipment.
- If you would like to collect a free tea, coffee or water beforehand you can pop into The Crown (IP18 6DP) from 10:00am (you can also sign in here if easier)
- We will be leaving Gun Hill at 10:45am so please be there in plenty of time to sign in, collect equipment and have the obligatory fun group photo taken (you can of course opt out if you wish!)
- We will finish the clean at the Harbour wall car park, next to the Adnams van at 12pm, where you are then invited to join us for complimentary and celebratory drink at The Harbour Inn (a 10 minute walk from there). Note: we will be giving out tokens at the end of the clean to all registered volunteers which can be redeemed for a drink at The Harbour Inn (IP18 6TA) Note: ALL volunteers will require a token.

  • I agree to read and follow the information relating to Health and Safety available in the organiser guide.
  • I agree to carry out a risk assessment in advance of Beachwatch events and I will keep a written record of these assessments.
  • I will record the details of any accident or incident of concern during the event and report this to MCS.
  • I will give a Health and Safety briefing to any volunteers before events start.
  • I understand that I must not supervise young volunteers under 16 years of age, nor allow anybody who is not their legally responsible adult to supervise them (some examples of legally responsible adults include: their parent, guardian, school teacher or guide leader).
  • I understand that if no surveys have been conducted within three years my beach will become available for others.
