We will meet outside McColl's at the chosen time (once it is confirmed, a couple of weeks before the event) and once everybody has arrived, we will walk the short distance to the beach.

We will be surveying an 100m area of the beach, so collecting litter and recording our findings on a sheet that will be provided. We can clean as much of the beach as we can manage, but only the 100m area needs to be recorded. Equipment including litter pickers, bin bags and bag rings to keep the bags open will be provided, however if you have your own you are welcome to bring it. Sturdy footwear is advised, trainers or boots will be fine but since we are searching around for litter I would recommend to avoid sandals or flip flops, although it is of course up to you.

Bring water, snacks if you'd like, and a way to keep cool or warm, depending on how the weather is feeling at that time of year.

Thanks for your interest, feel free to share with friends, and note that children and dogs are more than welcome!
