Join Medway Swale Estuary Partnership and Guardians of the Deep to help clean along the estuary at Riverside Country Park

Meet at the Visitors Centre, located in the main car park.
333 Lower Rainham Road, Gillingham, Kent ME7 2XH

9.30am-11.30am

Equipment will be provided such as bags, gloves and litter pickers.
Please wear stout footwear for beach clean and wind/ weatherproof clothing for weather conditions on the day! Free parking is available.

Please not the event will be cancelled if this is strong winds, torrential rain, snow or forecasted thunder storms. Please check the Facebook Page or webiste for updates.

  • I agree to read and follow the information relating to Health and Safety available in the organiser guide.
  • I agree to carry out a risk assessment in advance of Beachwatch events and I will keep a written record of these assessments.
  • I will record the details of any accident or incident of concern during the event and report this to MCS.
  • I will give a Health and Safety briefing to any volunteers before events start.
  • I understand that I must not supervise young volunteers under 16 years of age, nor allow anybody who is not their legally responsible adult to supervise them (some examples of legally responsible adults include: their parent, guardian, school teacher or guide leader).
  • I understand that if no surveys have been conducted within three years my beach will become available for others.
