Help us keep the shores clean at Porth Beach!

This FREE event will give you the chance to help the environment and learn more about local species, biodiversity and the shores around us. Join the team from Newquay Zoo at Porth between the hours of 10am and 1.30pm to help us on our first coastal clean up.

Newquay, famously known for its beaches, is in need of a clean up to protect our local wildlife and beautiful coastlines. With litter being brought in by the tide and visitors to the beaches it has never been more important to help clean up our sands and learn a little on the way.

Fancy your chances at competing in our Lemur long jump? Or are you more of an expert sand castle maker? Test your skills with our beach games running alongside the Big Beach Clean, theres a chance to win for everyone!

By helping us with our coastal clean up, you could also be in with a chance of winning a penguin experience for two at Newquay Zoo, simply book onto the beach clean to enter!*

Let us know you’re coming by registering here.

Or call us on 01637 873342

*Participants must be aged 10 or over to partake in the experience, competition entry subject to attendance of the beach clean. Terms and conditions apply.
