Following the latest restrictions, governments across the UK have updated their guidance on volunteering. Volunteering can continue provided you do not need to self-isolate, you follow social distancing guidance and are Covid-secure.
Your safety is of utmost importance to us. Where possible, we are happy for volunteers to run small, private beach cleans with their family or allocated bubble, but please always check and follow national and local guidelines around lock down restrictions, along with the following rules:

To join us on this beach clean, please first register as a volunteer. You will then be able to sign up to this event on this page to let us know that you will be coming.
As part of National Chamber Music Day, Enterprise Music Scotland are running an Eco Music Day in Lamlash.
To link in to this, and also with the Marine Conservation Society's Big Beach Clean weekend, COAST are running a beach clean, meeting at our Octopus Centre at 9am to do a beach clean on our local beach.

Sturdy and waterproof footwear is essential, as is a good level of fitness due to the nature of the beach we clean. It is uneven and rocky underfoot, and can also be slippy at times.
