The Beach clean will involve a survey and clean-up of a specified section of beach and further clean-up of adjacent beach areas.

Please wear sturdy footwear. Bring sunglasses, hats, water, sunscreen, warm clothing depending on the weather. Please also bring re-usable strong protective gloves and litter pick tools if possible, some will be available. Re-usable collection bags will be provided and litter will be sorted into recyclable/non-recyclable waste to get the most benefit from the beach clean.

We will work in pairs as a minimum (pair up on the day if you are coming as an individual). Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and have a completed Parental Consent form (supplied on the day). Toilets are within 200 metres of meeting point. Public transport and disabled parking is also close by. Please be aware there is a walk from the meeting point to the beach involving a ramp/steps down to the promenade and beach. Dogs are not allowed on part of this beach at this time of year. High tide: approx 19:00, 4.1m high.

The health & safety briefing will start at 4pm so please arrive promptly to avoid missing important information!
