Great British Beach Clean (3rd weekend in Sep)
Date & time:
Friday, 20 September 2019 - 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Meeting location:
limited parking just west of Fretherne Church (SO733092 – GL2 7JQ) - look out for the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust signs!
Additional information:

Update: we will meet at 1:30pm to take advantage of the outgoing tide and clear up anything it has left behind!

We will be clearing along a beautiful section of the River Severn, with a chance to see a variety of habitats that make the Severn and the estuary so special. We will spend a couple of hours carrying out a litter pick and this stretch is also a top spot for fossil hunting so keep your eyes peeled and you never know what you might discover!

We will need to pay close attention to the tides, and due to the nature of the site wellies are recommended.. Exact times will be published nearer the date, taking account of tides and weather conditions.

Please note this site is not suitable for dogs, children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult and remain under close supervision at all times.
