The access road from Lydd is an unmade track, very potholed. The Beach is at the Southern end of Dengemarsh Road. Dengemarsh Road is accessed from Lydd, Kent via the South of Robin Hood Lane, Skinner Road or Manor Road. Nearest Public Conveniences are in Lydd, 2 miles from the beach. This is a beautiful wild shingle beach with no access via Public Transport. The beach is bordered by Dungeness Nuclear Power Station to the East, an Army Firing Range to the West and the Dungeness wild bird reserve to the North. Bring hardwearing shoes or boots, tough gardening type gloves and suitable outdoor clothing. Check the weather for this exposed beach before you leave. Time permitting we will carry out a sea life identification session for the children. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Look forward to meeting with you all on one of Kent's best kept secret beaches.
