Happy New Year Cramond Beach Cleaners!

Our first Marine Conservation Society Beach Clean and marine litter survey of 2019 will be Saturday the 19th of January from 10-12.

Calum will give a briefing at 10am so if you could meet at the tide timetable to sign in and register around 10 we will then hand out litter pickers, gloves, bags and the survey forms.

From 10-11 we will tackle the normal 100m stretch to pick up and survey all the litter items between the last high tide and the back of the beach. From 11-12 we will then try and clean up as much of the beach and surrounding area as possible before Edinburgh City Council comes to collect the bags for us.

Please wear sturdy close toed shoes and bring layers to keep you warm. If you have any of your own gloves or litter picking equipment please do bring along as everything helps :)

Any questions please drop us an email on catherine.gemmell@mcsuk.org

Thank you everyone and look forward to seeing you there!

All the best,

Calum and Catherine
