Come and join us for the April beach clean and survey down at Cramond!

A huge thank you to all of you who joined us in January with Sky News - it was a very exciting start to the year but now we enter the next survey window so our work continues - but we couldn't do it without you!

We will be meeting at 10am for a safety briefing and a look at the survey before heading down to survey and clean the normal 100m stretch of beach.

Once the survey area is completed for those of you who would like to stay we normally then spend another hour doing a general clean of the rest of the beach and dunes area before doing a big weigh in at 12.

Please bring lots of layers for the cold or suncream for the sun! April in Scotland can give us anything :) If you have any of your own equipment like litter pickers, handy hoops or gloves that would be fantastic but we will be bringing kit along on the day as well as borrowing some from Edinburgh City Council.

Young and canine beach cleaners are more than welcome! For anyone under 18 we will have a guardian consent form that will need to be filled in on the day.

The Park Run will be on as well so just a reminder the car park and area will be quite busy.

If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact Catherine on catherine.gemmell@mcsuk.org

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday the 21st at 10am!

Best Wishes,

Calum and Catherine
