Please book to attend this beach clean so the organiser knows roughly how many volunteers will attend. The Beach clean will involve a survey and clean-up of a specified area and clean-up of the other beach sections to the right of the pier.

Please wear sturdy footwear. Bring sunglasses/hats/water/sunscreen/warm clothing depending on the weather. Please bring re-usable strong protective gloves and litter pick tools if possible, some will be available. Re-usable collecting bags will be provided and litter will be sorted into recyclable/non-recyclable waste to get the most benefit from the beach clean.

We will work in pairs as a minimum (pair up on the day if you are coming as an individual). Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and have a completed Parental Consent form. Toilets and cafes are within 50 metres of meeting point. Public transport and disabled parking is also close by. Dogs should be kept on a lead to avoid health & safety issues with other volunteers and reduce risks to the dog. High tide: approx 6am.

Briefing will start at 10am so please arrive promptly to avoid missing important information. Please contact the organiser (Sarah) if you have any questions or feedback. We really appreciate the time and effort donated by all our volunteers and look forward to seeing you on the 27th!
