Date & time:
Saturday, 19 January 2019 - 12:30pm - 2:00pm
Meeting location:
In The Royal Inn Pub car park (The Royal Inn, Pier Road, Portishead, BS20 7HG) so that the whole group can walk down to the small beach together.
Additional information:

Please note this is a surveyed beach clean where you will be required to record each item collected onto a sheet provided.

Please wear sturdy, flat, waterproof shoes or boots.
It may be cold so wrap up warm and bring a warm drink or water (refreshments maybe purchased from the local pub if it’s open).

Bring gardening gloves or similar with you if you have some, and arrive for a safety briefing at 12:30pm as the estuary can be a bit treacherous if you are not prepared!
The access if via a number of steep steps from the wooded area down to the beach entrance and can be muddy and slippery; a walking stick might help if it has been raining.

If you are driving, please do not park in the pub car park, please either use the pay & display car park within the marina or park along Pier Road being mindful not to obstruct resident’s driveways.

Please register as a group when volunteering as a family.

And as always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and I will respond as soon as possible.
