There is a met office weather centre exhibition and a museum within the town, as well as many restaurants and cafes to grab a bite to eat in.

Wildlife and Walks

The Cumbria Coastal Way meanders past the beach. Near the Lake District National Park, this area is spectacular and is much loved by walkers. RSPB St Bees Head Reserve is south of the beach.
