A long sandy beach backing onto a pebble ridge linking to Northam Burrows Country Park. Access via ramp from the town of Westward Ho! (named after the novel by Charles Kingsley). The beach runs parallel to the South West Coast Path.

Activities

You can windsurf, surf, swim and there is some fantastic coastal walking.

Wildlife and Walks

The SW Coast Path runs past the beach, the Northam Burrows Country Park and Tapeley Park is nearby and Kenwith Valley reserve is worth visiting.

Water samples are taken at this designated bathing water by the Environment Agency, during the bathing season, 15th May to 30th September.
