To the east of Tor Bay, this is a beautiful sandy beach with Pennard Pill stream running through it, the beach is encrusted with rock pools. The cliffs backing the beach are popular with climbers.


The beach and area is used for swimming (strong swimmers only and be very cautious of rips), sea-canoeing, surfing, climbing along limestone cliffs and golf. Pennard Castle is nearby.
