Situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park, this is a gently shelving sand and shingle beach which extends as far as the eye can see in both directions.

Activities

A magnet for walkers, explorers and nature lovers. Horse trekking is possible in the area. There is a golf club to the south of the beach.

Wildlife and Walks

There is a coastal path and the beach is adjacent to an SSSI. For a fantastic walk and fabulous views, Black Combe fell is not far away.
