A very popular sandy beach situated in front of the village with a small harbour. Shallow water, ideal for swimming. Shops runs along the beach front.

Activities

The beach is used for: swimming, windsurfing, sailing and fishing. There is no zoning for water sports.

Wildlife and Walks

There is a beautiful walk from the beach around to Wiseman Bridge through a cliff tunnel - part of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Water samples are taken at this designated bathing water by Natural Resources Wales, during the bathing season, 15th May to 30th September.

Water quality can be reduced for up to 72 hours after heavy rain. Look out for temporary signs at the beach and on our website.

Excellent — the highest classification meaning the water is cleanest

Good — generally good water quality

Sufficient — meets minimum standards

Poor — You are advised not to swim. The beach will stay open and an action plan should be in place to improve the water quality.
