A superb beach with beautiful scenery and views of Worms Head promontory, accessible at low tide via a rock causeway, but the incoming tide rises quickly and walkers should be aware of getting trapped.
Activities
The beach is used for swimming, fishing and rockpooling at Burry Holmes. Waves are often suitable for surfing and bodyboarding.

Excellent — the highest classification meaning the water is cleanest
Good — generally good water quality
Sufficient — meets minimum standards
Poor — You are advised not to swim. The beach will stay open and an action plan should be in place to improve the water quality.
