Beach and dunes area formerly used for tipping mining waste. The beach is recovering and becoming sandy though evidence still exists of the former industrial past. The beach has Alcan power plant to the South and Bog Hall point to the North, with access on foot from the main road down steep paths and from the car park at Bog Hall.

Activities

Horse riding, dog walking and angling are the main activities in this bay.

Wildlife and Walks

Seals and porpoises are regularly sighted off this bay, and good for winter and spring migrant birds.
