A sandy bay on the edge of the Tywi Estuary, one of the three estuaries that open out into Carmarthen Bay, creating extensive tidal sand banks.

Wildlife and Walks

The tidal areas created by the confluence of these three estuaries provides an important habitat to various species of birds. Carmarthen Bay is a Special Protected Area and European Marine Site. There is more information about this precious habitat here: http://english.cbeems.org/
