This sandy beach is an ideal spot for a family trip to the seaside. Beach huts line the promenade and are available for hire.

Activities

Popular activities here are swimming, windsurfing and sea canoeing. There is zoning for water sports.

Wildlife and Walks

Christchurch Coastal Path - The path runs the full length of the Christchurch coastline from Chewton Bunny to Mudeford Quay. Steamer Point is a 24 acre cliff top designated local nature reserve (LNR) found next to Friars Cliff.
