One of Bournemouth’s quieter beaches, popular with locals and close to Boscombe pier and Fisherman’s Walk. There’s a shop and kiosk providing snacks and beach accessories and toilet facilities.

Beach hut hire, swimming, fishing, jet skiing, surfing, paddle boarding, kite surfing are popular here.

Wildlife and Walks

The cliffs are designated SSSI’s, providing a habitat to the rare sand lizard and other protected species.

Pay parking is available in public car parks in nearby Boscombe Pier, as well as on the overcliff.

Dog restrictions

 

Dogs not allowed between May 1st and September 31st. Dog exercise areas during these months available in other areas.

Daily beach cleans during the summer, weekly during the winter.
