Situated within the town of Bangor, a mile-long sandy bay with some interesting rock pools at either end. At the end of the beach is a National Trust Nature Reserve with a walk that leads to the beautiful seaside village of Groomsport.

The beach and area is used for sailing, fishing and boat trips.

There are footpaths leading east around Ballymacormick Point to nearby Groomsport Bay and Cockle Island.

1st June to 15th September.
