For anybody who hasn't joined us before; please come along and find out all about what we do. No experience necessary!
We know that Wales is now on alert level zero, but we still have some coronavirus precautions that we would like you all to follow. If possible, please register yourself or your group. We will then be able to monitor who is taking part and be able to contact you if there are any problems.
Please don’t attend the Beach Clean if you’re feeling unwell. Only come along if you are not displaying any coronavirus symptoms (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change of taste or smell).
We ask you if possible to bring your own litter pickers (although we will have a limited number of sanitised pickers available) and your own gloves and hand sanitiser.
We will provide buckets to collect cans and bottles and bags for all other litter and we will have some disposable gloves too.
When you / your group arrives and during your beach clean please remember to observe social distancing from others, where possible.
Mask wearing is at your discretion.
Before you start, we will give you guidance for first aid and where to drop off your collected litter.

And of course, how to record what you find on the beach.

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.
