  • Meeting point:

We would love to welcome you to our 2022 beach clean to celebrate our B Corp Birthday! We believe in business being a force for good, and in 2020 we achieved something quite remarkable here at Lovat Parks. We achieved B Corp certification. B Corp stands for Better Corporations. It’s a movement of businesses who want to use their work to benefit people, communities and the planet. It’s hard to become a B Corp, and we’re so proud of the team for achieving it. This certification ensures we take the time to take action to protect and care for the landscapes, oceans and communities that surround our holiday parks throughout the UK. Our 2022 beach clean celebration will be held at Mawgan porth beach! We will meet at the Mawgan Porth Village Hall at 3.30pm for a safety briefing and to collect our cleaning equipment. The beach clean will start at 4pm and we will return for refreshments at the Village Hall from 5pm. We will be hosting some lovely B Corp goodies such as Judes Ice Cream and Pentire alcohol free gins.

Also worth knowing…

What to bring: We’d recommend you pack a rucksack with a few essentials like sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser, and perhaps some snacks and a drink (in a reusable bottle, of course).

What to wear: If you're picking up litter with your hands it's worth wearing a strong pair of gloves - like gardening gloves - just to make sure you're protected. Sturdy shoes are a must for protection too.

Under 16s: To comply with our insurance, volunteers under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a parental / guardian consent form on the day by the beach clean organiser.
