Hundreds turn out to support MCS march on Westminster in support of MCZs

A march organised by MCS and supported by BSAC, Fish Fight  and Sea Life to highlight the chronic failure of the Government to create a meaningful network of marine protection in English seas, is just getting underway in London.

Led by Fish Fight campaigner and celebrity chef, Hugh Fearnley Whitingstall, the march is being attended by divers in scuba gear, people in fish costumes and supporters with placards and banners demanding 127 MCZs now.

After a march over Westminster Bridge, the event will rally at Old Palace Yard  where Hugh and spokespeople from MCS, BSAC and Sea Life will tell the crowd why the campaign for 127 MCZs is so vital.

You can still get involved by taking part in the Government's public consultation here
