Did you know there’s hardly anywhere in Welsh seas where marine life is truly safe from harm?
The Welsh coastline is truly amazing with offshore reefs, calm inlets, peaceful waters and dangerous rapids.
Wales is unique - it's the point where warm southern waters meet cold northern waters leading to an abundance of marine wildlife.
But Welsh marine life needs all the help it can get and that's where YOU come in. MCS is looking for passionate people who would like to help achieve Welsh seas that are rich in wildlife, where fish stocks can be more plentiful and where beaches and bathing waters are cleaner.
You can help secure the future of Welsh seas by becoming an MCS Sea Champion.
We are running two FREE Action days:
Bangor, Saturday 12th February
Haverfordwest, Sunday 13th February
The aim of these days is to give you background information about MCS and our wonderful Welsh three-sided coastline. We’ll talk you through our three core conservation programmes - fisheries, pollution and biodiversity and give you an insight into how we work and explain how you can help spread the word
We’re confident that by the end of the day you’ll want to get involved! And you won’t go away empty handed - we’ll equip you with all the key information and materials you will need to get started.
BOOKING FOR OUR ACTION DAYS IS ESSENTIAL – SO DON’T MISS OUT – GET IN TOUCH NOW
Please contact Ros Davies (ros.davies@mcsuk.org) for more information, or complete the registration form and email to Ros by Monday 7th February 2011.
