Protecting marine life
We’re progressing the fight for 127 Marine Conservation Zones in England. With Defra stalling the process last year, it’s now more important than ever for us to keep fighting for the vital designation of these sites, before it’s too late.
Reducing pollution
Over the past ten years we’ve cleared over 200 tonnes of litter from UK beaches! This year we’re planning to significantly step up our activity, aiming to reduce these levels by an ambitious 25% over the next five years.
Promoting sustainability
With the CFP (Common Fisheries Policy) review by the EU at a crucial stage, this year it is really important for us to work towards sustainable fisheries and bring an end to the wasteful and shocking practice of discarding fish and to reduce bycatch.
