Congratulations to MCS’ 2011 Brighton Marathon runners!
All four runners completed the Marathon course on a very hot and sunny day in Brighton.
The city's second marathon was a huge success with 80,000 spectators and 8,000 runners taking part. Temperatures peaked at 22 degrees with no cloud cover or shade for the runners.
Brothers Matt and Ollie Wilson were the first to the finish line in just under 4 hours and Oliver Wheen and Tony Evans weren’t far behind!

So far in total they have raised over £2500, which is absolutely fantastic and is likely to rise over the coming weeks. If you would like to show them your support click here and follow the links.
Thank you to the spectators who cheered on our runners, we know it really made a difference and kept the runners going during the toughest points of the Marathon route.

We will have a full report of the day in our MCS members magazine released in June.
