how to help

oceans 25 ambassadors

"The Society has a
record of sustained achievement and deserves the wholehearted,
passionate support of
everyone who cares about our marine environment."

HRH The Prince of Wales
MCS President

In 2008, the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) celebrates 25 years of groundbreaking work to care for UK seas, shores and wildlife.

To help launch the next 25 years of urgent conservation work, MCS has created the MCS Oceans 25 Ambassadors:

a group of concerned individuals and corporate leaders committed to our vision of clean seas, sustainable fisheries and protection for sea life.

“I wish them every possible success in their vital work to create cleaner, more productive and more diverse seas that
benefit both our remarkable marine wildlife and the people of this island nation. Our special bond with our coastline and the sea, developed and nurtured over many generations, deserves nothing less.”
