Sunday 8th World Oceans Day. The Cool Seas Roadshow will be at the Solway Firth Partnership's family marine day at Port William, Dumfries and Galloway, 11-3pm.
Find out what makes Scotland's seas so cool, at the Scottish Seabird Centre, North Berwick, Saturday 14th. Take part in a mini beach clean and meet Talullah the Leatherback Turtle! Part of Scottish Wildlife Week (7-15th).
Crack out the suncream (hopefully!) for the summer Cramond Adopt-a-Beach event on Saturday 28th. Staff from the MCS Scotland Office and volunteers will be picking up and recording the litter from Cramond Beach. Meet at the start of Cramond Causeway at 10am. The event will last approximately 2 hours, and refreshments are provided. Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear. Families, children and dogs all welcome! Please see www.adoptabeach.org.uk for further details, or for your nearest adopted beach if you do not live near Cramond.
Seasearch weekend to the Sound of Mull, 7-8th June 2008. Calum is organising a Seasearch weekend to look for flameshells and fan mussels in the Sound of Mull. Pick up by the MV Silver Swift will be from Oban on the Saturday morning, with two days diving, staying the Saturday night at the Park Lodge Guest House in Tobermory, Mull. This trip is suitable for Seasearch divers qualified to BS-AC Sports Diver or equivalent. Contact Calum for further details.

Beachwatch, the flagship event of Adopt-a-Beach, takes place over the weekend of 20-21st. Cramond Beachwatch will be held on Saturday 20th.
