marine turtles

turtle conservation fund

In September 2001, MCS launched the Turtle Conservation Fund (TCF) to support marine turtle research and conservation projects worldwide.  The TCF is accumulated through Adopt-a-Turtle and other MCS fundraising initiatives. The Fund allows MCS to award small grants of no more than £5,000 to non-profit organisations around the world who significantly contribute to the conservation of marine turtles and their habitats. So far we have distributed over £100,000 to 18 conservation and research projects in 15 different countries.
