2nd Annual Student Sea Turtle Symposium
This very special event was organised by Ecology Project International (EPI). Each year EPI provides Costa Rican secondary school students with the opportunity to get hands on experience of working with giant leatherback turtles. At the annual Symposium, over 200 students are able to share their experiences with students from other countries. This initiative will go a long way towards ensuring a commitment to marine turtle conservation for generations to come. (TCF funded in 2003)
