habitats

welcome

A habitat can be defined as ‘an environment that provides food and shelter required for an organism to make its home’. Marine habitats can range from the upper-most reaches of the shoreline and above, to the deepest parts of the oceans - from each blade of seagrass, and its own micro-ecosystem, to the vast oceanic deep sea floor habitat that covers millions of square kilometres.
