If you have any good photos of basking sharks, please let us know.  We would be delighted to use them in our work to promote conservation of this wonderful endangered species.

If you have good photos of basking shark fins, such as the one below, please send them to EBSPiP (the European Basking Shark Photo-identification Project).  Photo-ID is a powerful, non-invasive field technique for studying live sharks in their natural environment, and this project will help researchers to understand shark movements and life histories - especially important for a vulnerable and highly migratory species like the basking shark.
